As Administrator for  the AAH Contractor Guidelines Training Program, I was responsible for ensuring all of our contractors took the required online training they needed to be able to work in any of our hospitals.

Calendaring / Group Meetings

When I set up group meetings, my technique for this is to work primarily my leader's, calendar, as well as those key attendees that are hardest to schedule. This way I'm ensured I have all or as many key players at the meeting table as I can get. I find it also helps to ask to send representative if unable to attend.

In terms of scheduling for my leader, when working with potential conflicts, I prefer to collaborate with he/she on which they prefer to attend. If unable to do so, if there is a reoccurring meeting involved vs a one-time meeting, the one-time meeting would take precedence.

Meeting Minutes

Detail is very important to me when I take minutes at meetings

The chairpersons for a number of meetings that I've scribed at have asked for me personally to take minutes at their meetings because of my writing style and attention to detail. My process is to work with the meeting chair in all aspects of the meeting. From sending out the invitations, to creating agendas, as well as writing the minutes. I believe in full collaboration.
