My Background

I began my career as an administrative assistant, first in the construction field, then healthcare, specifically Facilities and Emergency Management over 30 years ago.

In 2017, I earned my credentials as a Certified Administrative Assistant through the International Association of Administrative Assistant (IAAP). As a member of IAAP, I joined the Milwaukee Branch and spent 3 years as their Social Media and Communications Coordinator. This began my interest in learning more about branding and social media marketing. Additionally, I've learned quite a bit about marketing and branding from working my campaigns that advocate to try and induct two popular musical groups into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

  • Provided executive-level administrative and budget support to division leadership; after being promoted to Management & Budget Analyst I in December 2023.

  • In the Analyst role, I led budget development and annual planning for five divisions, collaborating with Directors to align resources and priorities.

  • Conducted monthly budget monitoring and variance analysis to prevent overspending and ensure fiscal compliance.

  • Prepared and executed journal entries and budget amendments, ensuring timely reconciliation and accurate financial records.

  • In both the Secretary and Analyst roles, I managed procurement processes including purchase orders, procurement card transactions, and invoice processing to streamline purchasing and payment workflows.

  • Coordinated public records requests and responded to resident inquiries on property taxes and services, maintaining professional constituent relations.

  • Administered complex calendars, coordinated meetings, and prepared Board Meeting agenda items with their supporting materials.
